WHAT IS GOURMET EVERYDAY?
Gourmet Everyday is a locally prepared meal delivery service for anyone who would like to lose weight, live healthy, and stay in shape. We create high quality menu items for people who care about good tasting food. The meals are designed and prepared fresh daily in our state of the art commercial kitchen right here in Metro Detroit, by our team of expert and talented chefs. You can choose from our original nutritionally and medically supervised weight loss plan, or create your own plan by navigating through our menus using the nutrition information available.
DO I NEED TO PICK UP THE FOOD?
No, Gourmet Everyday makes it easy! You pick the delivery date and location and we deliver it to you! It couldn’t be more convenient.
HOW MANY DAYS WILL I GET AT A TIME?
Gourmet Everyday’s meals are all natural and preservative free. We recommend that you receive no more that 2-3 days worth at a time to ensure freshness.
WHAT COMES IN THE PLAN?
Our FULL DAY Chef’s choice plan is designed for optimal success and includes 3 meals, 2 snacks and dessert daily. We also have a plan to receive a full day of meals without snacks and dessert. You may also opt for our Gourmet Everyday daytime manager which includes breakfast, lunch and snacks.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE SOMETHING?
Gourmet Everyday offers a menu of choice to allow you to select the food items you prefer. Our menus change often and are currently on a 10 week cycle. If you have a more adventuresome palate, you can opt for our Chef’s Choice menu, and we will pick for you.
HOW MANY CALORIES IS IT?
We have 3 different calories per day plans. You may choose from 1100*, 1500 or 2500 calories per day when you create your account.
*1100 plan requires medical supervision.
HOW DO YOU REHEAT IT?
Our foods can be either reheated in the oven or the microwave. Simply remove the lid and place in the microwave for one minute increments, or remove the meal from the package and place in an oven proof dish. Reheat at 350* until it is hot.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Follow the simple steps to set up an account. Decide the best plan for you and select your program. Pick your delivery day, and location. When your food arrives, place it in the refrigerator and reheat it at meal time. If you chose home delivery, place your empty cooler on your porch the next delivery day for our staff to pick up.
DO I HAVE TO MAKE A LONG TERM COMMITMENT?
No, Gourmet Everyday understands that life gets busy and schedules change. We allow you to order one week at a time. You will be notified each Thursday via email that it is time to renew your order for the next week. Please note the cut-off times for each delivery day. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS OF YOUR CURRENT WEEK SERVICE. A credit will be issued for service cancelled within the appropriate time frame. All cancellations need to be communicated via email, or phone message, and confirmed with a Gourmet Everyday representative.
DO YOU DELIVER TO MY AREA?
Gourmet Everyday is available in many areas of Metro Detroit. Please check our zip code lists to determine if we service your area.
DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHEN MY FOOD ARRIVES?
No, we will leave a personalized cooler at your specified location that is insulated and contains ice packs. It is refrigerator tested and can be outside for several hours regardless of the weather.
WHAT DAY SHOULD I PLAN ON RECEIVING DELIVERY AND WHEN WILL IT ARRIVE?
We deliver during the afternoon, so it is best to pick your delivery day for the day before you would like to begin eating the meals. All the meals are delivered the same day they are prepared. We recommend that you do not receive more than 3 days worth at a time.
CAN I LOWER THE PRICE OF THE PLAN?
By the time you add up the price of a grocery list, gas to travel to the store, time you spent planning and shopping, and the waste factor of unused ingredients, most people find that our pricing is a real value. We offer an A La Carte menu with varying prices, and the option to dictate the frequency of delivery. We do not use any preservatives in our food products, so we recommend that you do not receive more than 3 days worth of food for each delivery to ensure freshness. We also give you a referral discount when you have one of your friends join the program. Sharing your success with others earns you 20% of your friends subtotal applied to your Gourmet Everyday account. We also give you the option to save on delivery by picking up your order at one of Gourmet Everyday's distribution sites.
